In this age of distraction where there is so much to draw our attention (think smartphone), listening skills are at a premium. Whether you are scoping a project for a client or a customer has a complaint, to be truly service-oriented you have to hear what the customer is saying, well beyond their words.
This session will focus on three things:
1. You will better understand the importance of listening
2. You will self-assess (with some input) how effective your listening skills are
3. You will learn strategies to improve your listening skills and will leave with additional steps to help you keep building your listening skills
